khanaOh God, I loved it. Loved loved loved it! And I love Donna.
I love the fact that meeting him changed her, that she was looking for him all this time, that she had all her stuff packed. Her investigating reminded me a lot of Sarah Jane, somehow.
I love that she found him and convinced him to take her, not like with the other two, where he was the one asking.
I love that she is aware that there were Rose and Martha (she will find out there were more, I'm sure), but doesn't feel - yet, anyway - that she's fighting against windmills, just that they were part of his past, and that they, in a small part, made him who he is today. I love that she is aware of the risks and goes with him, anyway, and that she has no romantic interest in him - hope to god they keep it that way.
I want more, now, lots more. It was so much fun, and despite the drama in this episode, I think this season might be a bit lighter again, without all the drama and angst. A bit more like season 1 would be nice...
I hope the Rose-(sub)plot won't get too angsty and full of drama, either.
And am I the only one to think that Donna's... mum? Aunt? Grandma? Well, the one with the car won't just find the car keys, but the sonic pen as well? (And why didn't he give it to Donna? Would have been usefull, and he gave Sarah Jane her sonic lipstick, too. Well.)
And now a whole week of waiting...
