I think I'm quite a bit in love with my new notebook, now that I have spent about a day configuring it to my tastes.
Why do they give you a 350GB harddrive without any partitions? Finding a partition software that wanted to work with not only windows 7/64 bit, but *my computer* as well was a pain in the ass.
Anyway, it's very shiny, in the literal sense as well. Will have to apply some kind of anti-gloss-foil to the screen tomorrow.
And it's also cute, and surprisingly usefull and fun when converted to a tablet thingy.
Need to look for a pdf reader that lets me underline stuff with my fingers and things like that. Should be possible.
and also, reading fic just got a lot more comfortable. :)
I discovered the very fun Microsoft Blackboard game, and using paint (especially the upgraded windows 7-version) with your fingers is way cooler than the boring old mouse version.
Only thing it's missing is a proper name. It can't stay Wendehals (turn-head) forever, that's too unwieldy, even if it's true. The old notebook is Krümel (crumb), and the tower is Bob. Any ideas?
