Yay! Hamster #1, Mr. or Ms. Waffles, aka 'Thick Stripe', has found a new home with feuerschein's sister. Or will, once they are completely weaned. Anyway, he/she's taken.

In about a week's time, it's time to say goodbye to the little buggers. :(

aw, they did, and were very cute together. Are they planning to move in together?
it was a very, very quick affair - collect them at the station, present hamsters, wait 10 minutes for them to decide, allow them access to the computer to find another train, drive them back to the station. didn't even want to stay for coffee or anything.
hope they get home safe.

Yap, but that wasn't meant to be impolite or anything. This train system just sucks. They missed the last affordable connection already and need to pay more now.(atl east thats what I took from their phone call, I have a headache)
Warburg-Paderborn is a really stupid connection. You've got about 3-4 minutes to change trains and of course it usually doesn't work ;)

And they want to move together really soon. But university gives them obstacles. Did Endrit speak English or German?

Na, I didn't think it was. I usually catch my train in Warburg, but then, they are both small trains and usually wait, cause that's the biggest train-switch point for both.

German. Where's he from, originally? They were squeeing over the babies, so smalltalk didn't really happen that much. *g*

I used to get my trains in warburg just fine, too but my sis seems to have bad luck ^^

as long as they don't call the little one 'der waffle-haus' or something... *g* [I *love* Dead Like Me, but whoa, was it weird to hear Rube sxplain that it's 'der Waffle', because 'der' is apparently German for 'the'...]
