How sad is it that right now, the only plotline I can halfway get behind and like is Sylar bonding with some potential killer kid?
God, this show has gotten so strange and stupid, and I don't even recognize most of the characters any longer.
Traci is just stupid, and I can't stop thinking about Nicci when I see her, and Nicci wasn't all that cool to begin with, but way more interesting than Traci.
Nathan is getting just plain evil. What the fuck?
Peter is a huge idiot anyway, They killed off the cute speedster just for the hell of it, making Matt a revenge-seeking idiot as well - and he was kind of the voice of reason! Mohinder has been strange ever since he got himself superpowers. Hiro and Ando aren't even funny any more, just booooring. And Claire is, well, annoying as fuck. Like the comic shop guy so far. Don't like him , though, if he is meant as a potential love-interest for Claire.
And I won't even talk about Noah. Honestly.
Still not a word of Molly, Micah or Monica.
But they have some anonymous message-sender, now. Is it the same one who was there in all the comics last season break? Ooooooh, spooky! -_-
Would like to see Hana again at some point. Or rather, what's left of her.
Dear god, why does this series get more and more stupid with every plot-arc? And why don't I just stop watching it?!

No!! I'm happy to know that, too. MOST of my fl is like OMGWTF BETTER THAN EVER. And I'm more or less like: What the fuzz? Oo

Where do they see this 'better than ever' business? Seriously, where? Link me, or something? Cause I'm just incredibly annoyed at everything. That I currently almost like Sylar, who should have been killed of two seasons ago, is a strong indicator of that...

From what I've heard (granted, my sources are limited two three pro!3rd season people), it's mostly that "the good guys are bad and the bad guys are good and they are such lovely shades of grey and the characters are now so multidimensional and human." Because I'm still going "lalala, my Heroes ends with the season 1 finale, leave me alone, lala", I have no idea if it's accurate or not, obviously, and... no desire to find out, tbh.

ooookay. yes. they have gone for something like that. not completely, but they are switching characters from one side to the other all the time. Which is just annoying and makes them all completely wishy-washy, not multi-dimensional. Come on, what's the harm in good guys being good guys? GRAH!
(not directed at you, of course...)

"Wishy-washy" is exactly what it sounded like when I heard a quick description of the current season, but I wasn't sure if that wasn't just thanks to it being a quick summary and the writer & me having different concepts of what counts as "multidimensional" in general.
Right, we don't need to put characters on their heads to give them depth, and if done badly, it does more harm than good. (My least favourite plot twist ever: Fuuma suddenly going from "caring older brother" to "sadistic bastard" in X/1999 for no other reason that... what, destiny?)

I mean, having one or two characters switch sides, maybe even twice, is okay, but doing it all the time, and to just about everyone (I don't even know how often Noah and Nathan have switched now, and Sylar, and... yeah. way too many characters.) just makes it stupid, and has me trust nothing any character does any more, cause it will all be negated three episodes later, anyway.
Yeah, that thing in X/1999 was really really stupid. It had no foundation in the character whatsoever, it was just... possibly necessary for the plot, and, well character "development" shouldn't work like that.
