Naruto Shippuuden #24 opening/ending:

Please tell me that refers to some upcoming movie and is not, in fact, a preview for an upcoming filler-arc or something. *shudders*

Lovely Complex #18:

It's surprising how much I can squee because of two cute little het kisses for the pairing the whole show was aiming at. So adorable. *squees some more*

Claymore #19:

Such a cool show. More, gimme more! (Jup, read the manga up to date already, but it's still damn great.)

Angel 4x10:

And then it's surprinsing how much I can not squee at het kissing and fucking when the whole season was aimed at it, to some extent. Meh.
(But then again, it was only a dream. Thank god. Cause Angel, finding perfect happiness with Cordy? So not right. (And I'm not even a Buffy/Angel shipper or anything, but still... no.))

Upcoming movie, yes. I was confused like woah and read up on it somewhat. It's supposed to be some kind of teaser for said next movie. Looks like it'll be as weird as the others (that I still haven't watched).

Oh, thank god. I figured as much, because the music was the old one, but one can never be sure.
And that movie after someone told me not all that long ago that this time it was supposed to, you know, actually fit in with the plot. eh?
(only watched the first, not so sure about the others. still, one has a team of naruto/lee/shika, that should be enjoyable enough just because of the boys...

claymore is love.
when did I get to like shounen-stuff that much?

and I should get up to date on RxJ soon, to. if only I could figure out at which episode I stopped... o.O

Oh yes. More filler would be... Ewww. Let's not think about it. *shudders* (I think we're safe for now.)

When did shonen stuff become that awesome? (Heck, I still stand by my believe that Pumpkin Scissors is an excellent show that was just drowned in medicore fillers and that had to abrupt an end. And I never thought that I'd say something like that about a show with so many tanks.)

Aaaah, I also want to catch up with El cazador de la bruja. And there's a new Higurashi naku koro ni KAI episode... @_@ Why are there so many great shows at the moment?

jup, pumpkis scissors was a lot of fun. ^_^

are those two good?

and also, just so you know I've been doing a lot more that staring at the computer-screen: i've been staring at the TV, too. I'm level 23 vow in FFXII, having lots of fun. Am gonna travel through the osmorne plains soon, but first I'm gonna tak care of that sick moogle in the eastersand, and hopefully get some nice stuff and a key for it. (jup, doing this side-quest with a walkthrough, so I'll get it right.) so yes, I've done a lot of gaming over the last few days...

Higurashi no naku koro ni KAI is the follow-up to Higurashi no naku koro ni (Based on a videogame text-adventure that never made it to the States or anywhere else that isn't Japan. Higurashi just stopped in the middle of the story so kai is to H. what Naruto Shippuuden is to Naruto.), so you should watch that one first. It is one of the... no, it is the creepiest thing I've ever seen (though so far, KAI is harmless) but I adore it. The style is almost unbearably cutesy (just google it and you'll see what I mean) but it can be very violent at times. (There are different arcs and the amazing thing is that each one is a different kind of creepy.) Oh, and it's a mystery thing. Guessing what the heck is going on in Hinamizawa is almost as much fun as being creeped out. [Don't turn away after one episode, it's just an introduction. I was hooked after #2 and after two more I wanted to leave a light on. I hate horror stories, but Higurashi has a special place in my heart on my harddrive.]

And Cazador. It's beautiful. It's from the people who dod NOIR and the music is just as beautiful. Basically it's the story about a headhuntress and a wanted girl with supernatural abilities. And while we uncover the conspiracy surrounding the girl, the two of them travel south through some mexico-like country, meet people and learn a lot about them - an themselves. And it's pretty.

Lots of gaming sounds good to me. ^.~ (Meh, I can't even remember that poor Moogle right now...) So, how was the battle with Belias? Got as much oil on the characters as I did? *sighs* That was annoying...

Belias was, in fact, easy. I had leveld up quite far (20 for everyone) in hopes of beating the first stupid door (I didn't, though. goona do that soonish.) and had unlocked 17 of the 18 mist-abilities. So for belias I did two long chains with three characters each and he was dead quite soon. ^^

There's a side-quest with a sick patient in the little village in the middle of the eastersand (south of the river), where the wife of the guy who issued the flowering-cactoid-hunt tries to cure him. apperently, if I give her all the right amount of stuff, I'll get some very spehial things, and a key to the passage with the mimics.

The worst thing so far was, I think, the first demon-wall, which is still unbeat, and fleeing from the ba... thingies. The headhunters, in the mines of the flying city.
oh, and I love the story, and the characters, and the world is so very beautiful, and the animation is so smooth and - everything. so much fun.
(and i prefer this to kingdom hearts, I think, because it's easier to handle. no jump-and-run, which I really don't like, despite having loved Okami. ^^ KH is fun, but the actual gameplay can get quite unnerving. too much action-adventure, too little rpg, probably.

The animes both sound quite interesting. ^^ (Not that I don't have masses of unwatched series on dvd, but pssssst...)

Woah. I only got that many Mist ablilities until.... much later in the game. 0_o *is amazed* (I daresay that this will make some of the upcomming bosses quite a bit easier. especially that dragon. <.<)

Aaaah, I remember that quest now. (Okay, now why did I read "man" and thought "Moogle"?) I love how those little quests somehow tie back to either the main story or some of the background stuff or to each other, or...

Awww, I'm so happy that you like XI, seeing as I'm totally in love with it, too. (I'm always a little worried when it comes to XII since so many very strange people keep saying it has no plot, no character development etc. I should have known that you realize that those things do, in fact, exist in Ivalice.)
The graphics/animation is great to and I adore the attention to details. (Besides, I like in-game-Ashe better than cut-scene-Ashe. < / random > ) And all the subtilities in the characters and their relationships, their development and such!
(A propos world: After doing quite a few hunts I had the urge to write about original characters in this world. That never happened before. *is even more amazed*)

Hmm, fleeing from the Bangaa headhunters was pretty easy, but I remembered where the traps were so I didn't trigger them again and I was smart enough not to try to stay and fight (which is possible, but...).

I should hope that it does. ^_^
(No change gainst elementals, though. god, those things are annoying. >_<)
I decided to level anyway, and killing lots of monsters -> gaining lots of LP, so it wasn't all that hard. I originally wanted to have one for each character, and suddenly, they all had three.

Well, it's fucking great, and who sais it has not plot? There's so much politics going on everywhere, and, and... how could there be no plot? (And Vossler! Man, that was unfair!)
I loved the Moogle with his pet-tortoise. (I'm quite confused by some of the beasts, though. great turtles on two legs, turtles without heads... how are there things supposed to have evolved? o.O)
and writing o-characters, or even minor characters, like the people who post the bills or something, sounds like fun. ^^ Not that I really play with that much attantion to detail... I don't talk to everyone in cities...

and it is, in fact, a sick moogle, if you have the right amount of stuff for her. Which results in some great thing or other, so I try to get the moogle-patient, not the woman-patient. (It's like an... easter-egg or something. like the sword and the boxes, only less... tricky.)

I didn't decide on fleeing right way, stupid me, got 5 of my characters killed and had to flee with basch alone, the hunters directly on my heels, and every few meters he had to stand in order to use a potion, and they came nearer and... adrenalin-rush. *g* really, that was evil.

(Ooooh, the Elementals, the bane of my exploration sprees. I don't think I ever managed to kill one. (Though to be fair, I never tried to kill one of the Elementals in the "earlier" areas and my last encounter with such a fiend was when everyone was level 50-52 and the LeaMonde Entite slaughtered them in seconds. Ehem. *coughs*))

Politics! Guess they aren't everyone's cup of tea but I'm fascinated. (Especially since there are even more details than is normally the case with such intrigue plotlines.) [Vossler! ;__;]
Maybe some of the things didn't evolve. ^.~ [There are some giants without heads and there's some backstory to explain what they are and why. No evolution involved, for example.]
I never talked to all the NPCs either (though I do that a lot more on my re-play. Guess what - more details. Someone in the development team has a detail fetish or something.) but you can't help noticing that there are so many little things. Yay. ^.^

Awwww, moogle. I love the little darlings in any incarnation. (I think they first appeared in FF3 and have been in all FFs in one form or another - except for FF Tactics.)

There are, there are! If the village/place is small enough, I actually try talking to everyone, but in Rabanastre or the other large cities, that is just, well, pretty much impossible.

Elementals are eeeevil. I had every magick out of my gambits and still this electricity-thing in the swampy Giza Plains decided to attack me. Meh! (And not even lots of chained Mist-Techiniques (they translated that with Myst, wich is kinda stupid, cause, well, it's s kinf of fog, not only 'mystic'... -.-) won't to anything against them. meh... belias was a wast of MP, as well... stupid elemantal.

I couldn't find out though how the gigantoise is supposed to live without a head. The two-legged things were breeded in some way, but those? just strange.

Moogle are very, very, very cute, complete agreement. Are there plushies of those? If not, there totally should be. ^_^
(Now that would be an interesting sewing-project. but, well, cosplay first. maybe I'll try that a little tonight. Rat and hamster cage first, though. (it stinks...)

I guess it's a good thing that you can't actually talk to vereyone in the great cities. That would be overkill. 0_o (Though XII is the only game I've played with NPCs that are simply decoration and don't have any text.)

Hmm, no explanation in the Bestiary either? That's weird then...

There are lots of plushies of the "traditional" moogles (the completely white one, like the ones in KH, though the noses normally aren't that large). Haven't seen any plushies of the new Ivalice-style moogles though. (Pity.)

Off to phone with Tete now ^__^.

[Oh, now that I mention the phone - do you have one? Because I could take mum's, one "basic station" and two additionals if we don't have one. She doesn't need it any longer and says she can get one of Dieter's old ones for the time inbetween my moving and hers.]

grüß tete. ^^

I really like the 'decoration' characters, though. makes the city seem more crowded, which is really quite apropriate.

so, the moogles before had no clothes, something like that?

I do have one phone, but as we ordered ISDN, or, well 3 numbers, I think, you bringing another one would be quite usefull. ^^

Gruß zurück ^_^.

Yip, it's a nice touch. And sometimes they're not quite as passive as you'd expect mute NPCs to be... (Hmm, what's it with the boys walking on their hands? There are two in Rabanastre alone and only one of them speaks. *g*)

Right, no clothes for the old moogles. Only the Ivalice ones that show up in XII and Tactics Advance (which shows us some kind of "dream-world Ivalice") get clothes.

Okay, then I'll be sure to bring my phone as well. Can't hurt to have it anyway. ^^

I want some more/new ones. *coughs* Maybe I should look at some of the icon posts linked in the FF newsletter... (Thing is, it's easy to stumpble across visual spoilers thee, meh. I know the later plottwists, but you don't. Hmmm...)
