Old Who / ficathon_de

So I am now in posession of lots and lots of DVDs with all the Old Who eps on them, and have no clue where to start. I'd love to get to know all the Doctors and maybe even all the companions, before I decide which Doctor and/or Companion to get to know better first.

So I would love a list of the 'best' episode of each Doctor and Companion. Maybe there is one somewhere, and I just couldn't find it, or maybe you have one that you think everyone should have watched.

So far, I know Nine and Ten, a little bit of One (first two episodes), and a little bit of Four (first episode he was in). Also, Eight (the movie, and all the audios. Not sure if I want to read the books, yet).

Any reccs, or pointers towards reccs, would be lovely. :)



Also, ficathon_de is holding a new challenge.
It's about coming up with ideas for novels/novel-length fic, and having someone else write snippets for that idea. The concept is very cool, so I hope it works out the way it's meant to, with what gets written really being just snapshots of a larger, but if you're okay with that, come and play. Any fandoms - including crossovers, rps, originals, weird things -, ratings, kinds of ships are allowed. :)
