Dress! :)

I made a dress last night. It's black, about knee length, has broad straps that cross at the back and is made from stretchy fabric. (God, I love the new sewing machine for being so good with stretch!)
I saw one like it sometime last summer in a shop, but they wanted 30+€ for it and the pattern looked easy enough, so I bought fabric and left it lying around for quite some time. Now it's done. :)

It's perfect for wearing over blouses, and I'll wear it over a green one tonight to the Irish Pub. It's Karaoke Night, yay! Will try to take proper pictures, then.

I also made a little boxy pouch and two pillow cases.


It's strange, really - I never wanted to become so domestic, and now I can cook and bake and sew, and those are cool things, definitely, but the overall picture does get a bit housewifey. Weird.

Sewing is fun, though. And my room's full of thread and little scraps of fabric again. Yay.
