'index' toe on the left for me too. i was coming down the stairs from the 'halbetage' in our group room, probably got distracted by a kid, stepped on the step the wrong way, slid down three and landed on my toes at the bottom. it happened around 9:30 and i thought i'd ice it a little and it'd go away. when it had gotten a bit worse rather than better by 1:30, when my shift was over, i went to the emergency room, they x-rayed it, and determined it was broken. the buddy-taped it to the toe next to it, and as long as i on't walk too much, it doesn't even really hurt.
it just really sucks that we have waldwoche next week, and i was looking forward to that, but i'm not sure if i can manage that much walking... :(
Oooooh, nasty! I had crutches for a while but that screwed my back up. But it might be easier to get around fast with crutches...? Hope it heals up all right!

How did you do that??!! and which one?
I broke my left "index" toe in the waterslide in the Göttingen Spaßbad over ten years ago - not much fun.
