uhm, ungebetat, und so, nichtmal mehr durchgeguckt, und ich fürchte, tris ist nicht unheimlich trissig, hier, aber... na ja. :)

Tris was on her way to one of Lightsbridge's many dining halls when something strange happened. You got used to strange things happening all the time, studying at a magical university, but this…
With great noise and out of no-where, a strange blue box appeared in the middle of campus.
The man who stepped out looked a little strange, his clothing was like nothing she had seen before. And he grinned from ear to ear.
"I'm sorry," he told her, "I seem to be a bit lost. Where am I, precisely?"
Tris blinked. Lost. Well, he certainly looked like it. "Lightsbridge," she supplied.
"Lightsbridge…" He wrinkled his brow, then grinned again. "No, sorry, no bells ringing. Anything else you can tell me?"
"Surely you have heard of the university of Lightsbridge? In Emelan?" Tris stared at him. Every mage she had ever met had heard of Lightsbridge. And it was apparent that he was a mage, what with his strange blue box.
"Emelan? Interesting. No, never heard of it, and I know of just about any planet at any point in time out there."
"Are you an astronomer? A historian?"
"Bit of both. Time traveller, mostly. Time and space."
"I never heard of that kind of magic", she said.
"Oh, It's no magic. Just really advanced science and stuff, yo9u probably wouldn't understand." He grinned again. "Did you say magic?"
Tris nodded. Why was this strange guy asking so many questions? "Listen, I really have to get to lunch, or I'll miss my class on conjuring."
"Magic? You mean, real magic? With wands and everything?"
Where was this one from, not knowing magic? "No wands", she said, and even though she didn't like displaying her ambient talents here – she did want to be just another student, didn't she? – it was way simpler to convince him by grabbing a braid and pulling a bit of lightning out of it than doing it the academical way.
The lightning wound around her fingers, jumped from tip to tip to tip in irregular patterns, and she held her hand out fro him to see, then closed her fingers into a fist, uncurled one finger and pointed at a few dry leaves several feet from them. The little bold of lightning sprang forth, turning the leaves to ashes instantly.
The man stared, and stared some more. "Magic, huh?" he said, finally.
"What else?" she asked, and the mans grin broadend until his whole face seemed to be smiling.
"Brilliant!" He extended his hand to her. "I'm the Doctor. And you are?"
"Trisana Chandler", she said, shaking his hand.
"Nice to meet you, Trisana. Now then, you said something about food?" And just like that, he had slung an arm around her, and she led him towards the nearest dining hall.
The blue box still sat in the middle of campus, and students hurried past it, wondering which professor has left it there and what it's purpose was.
